The authors state: “The best practices around the country look at GSI as part of a suite of actions that are neighborhood-driven. GSI is not treated as a standalone activity that is unrelated from other neighborhood needs. In that spirit this paper includes strategies that are not purely GSI-related but will help stabilize neighborhoods and ensure residents are able to receive the benefits of GSI investment.”
