By investigating water quality with community scientists we will have a better understanding of the severity and sources of pollution and a basis for future remediation in four of our most highly-urbanized watersheds. We will create an educated grassroots network by directly engaging communities in hands-on science, trainings, local workshops, and a regional forum at the Sarah Lawrence Center for the Urban River at Beczak.
