The Urban Waters Learning Network (UWLN) is a nationwide peer-to-peer network of individuals, organizations, and communities working to conserve, restore, and revitalize America’s urban waterways. We deliver tools, training, mentoring, and financial assistance related to water quality, habitat conservation, flood resilience, and access to outdoor recreation opportunities to help network members expand access to clean water and build healthy and resilient communities and ecosystems for everyone. Meet the Network here. Contact us at urbanwaters@rivernetwork.org.
Our Partners
River Network and Groundwork USA helped found the Urban Waters Learning Network (UWLN) in 2012. The UWLN has benefited over the years from support of the US EPA Office of Water and other partners, including the Kresge Foundation, the Water Foundation’s Water Solutions Fund, and the National Park Service – Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance program.

The Urban Waters Learning Network has convened hundreds of water practitioners over the past decade to restore and revitalize America’s urban waters. Membership is free and open to anyone who shares our goal of clean water and healthy ecosystems. Sign up for our mailing list to get involved!
