The Darby Creek in the Delaware River Basin is an impaired urban water body with stormwater runoff pollution. This work of Villanova University will create a living laboratory space used for community education, stormwater performance research, and product development by companies creating green technology. This work will integrate education and a mitigation plan on stream water quality issues within the community through the creation of two vegetated roof shelters, each configured to engage the community.
